Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Walker Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral health care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings
- Develop and implement personalized oral health plans for patients
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Michigan
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
- CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
