Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities associated with this position encompass:
1. Delivering instruction across various nursing courses in both theoretical and practical settings.
2. Mentoring and advising students to support their academic journey.
3. Engaging in professional service and community outreach initiatives.
4. Contributing to the continuous evaluation and enhancement of the nursing program.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- An earned Master’s or Doctorate in nursing from an accredited institution.
- An active or eligible unencumbered Texas APRN license.

Experience
Preferred candidates will demonstrate:
- Evidence of effective teaching in higher education.
- Active involvement in professional service activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.

Additional Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience supporting nursing students in clinical, simulation, and skills lab environments.
- Experience coordinating clinical placements for nursing courses.
- Clinical practice experience in medical-surgical or critical care settings as an RN or APN.
- Familiarity with technology in education and experience in distance/online learning is preferred.
