Metrowest Medical Center's Cardiac Rehab program is a comprehensive outpatient program designed to help patients recover from heart conditions and improve their overall cardiovascular health. Our team of dedicated professionals, including exercise physiologists and registered nurses, work together to provide individualized care and support to each patient.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist or Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehab team as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the day-to-day operations of our cardiac rehab program. This includes developing and delivering individualized rehabilitation programs, conducting patient assessments, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for patients with cardiovascular disease
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine program effectiveness
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on cardiovascular health and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Manage program budgets and resources effectively
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of cardiovascular disease and its management. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as exercise science or nursing, is required.
