Position Overview:
A Sales Associate is pivotal in executing the company's Mission Statement, focusing on delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. This role involves engaging with customers on the sales floor or in a supportive capacity, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience in a well-organized and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Exhibit strong sales capabilities in a dynamic, customer-focused retail environment.
2. Greet, assist, and express gratitude to customers consistently.
3. Prioritize customer satisfaction at all times.
4. Provide personalized service through thorough needs assessments and tailored product suggestions.
5. Promote available products and services to enhance customer experience.
6. Address and resolve customer service concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
7. Foster positive relationships with team members.
8. Uphold store standards regarding visual merchandising, cleanliness, and maintenance.
9. Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
10. Efficiently manage receiving, inventory counts, returns, and transfers using handheld devices.
11. Complete required documentation and process controls accurately.
12. Adhere to company policies and maintain a safe work environment.
13. Understand and comply with cash handling and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Ability to work various shifts in a team-oriented environment year-round.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities in English.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and unforeseen circumstances.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet specific federal requirements.
- Physical demands include computer work, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods, and flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
