Advanced Product Quality Planning Specialist

**Job Title:** Advanced Product Quality Planning Specialist
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Product Quality Planning Specialist to join our team at ELDOR AUTOMOTIVE POWERTRAIN USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating documentation, driving improvement, tracking trials, and validating products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the APQP Engineer in planning New Project meetings for future products.
- Follow up on project action plans and support the APQP Engineer on project management-related activities.
- Prepare product-related documents for formatting, archiving, and confidentiality.
- Complete necessary documentation, including Work Instructions, Procedures, Action Plans, Product Validation, and Engineering Change Requests.
- Promote and support continuous improvement of the production line by suggesting new ideas to increase capacity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance personnel to resolve part quality issues.
- Follow product trials, maintain containment of trial parts, and prepare materials for shipping.
- Be willing to step in and help where needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
- Prefer an Associate's degree, but related work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience with production facility processes and equipment.
- Experience determining root cause and corrective action for quality defects (equipment, process, mold, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the team, including Management, Engineering, Quality, Supervisors, Technicians, and Operators.
- Experience creating training documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate individually and as part of a team.
- Must be highly organized, as you will need to juggle multiple tasks in one day.
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills and teach others.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- SAP experience preferred.
**Work Environment:**
Roanoke, VA / Engineering Department
**Other Requirements:**
Flexible to work any shift as required.
