Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will work one-on-one with adults with brain injury diagnoses, providing supports within a homelike community setting to help them strive for independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with families, involving them in the therapeutic process
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Nursing Team, and Behavioral team members to ensure treatment plans meet participants' needs
  • Deliver therapeutic supervision to participants and families during treatment and education activities
  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members
  • Assist in participant behavior management using non-aggressive, de-escalation techniques
Requirements
  • Behavioral caregiver experience (preferred) but not required
  • High school diploma
  • Valid/clean driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • A good attitude with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • A caring and compassionate mind
