Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Equipment Technician to join our team at Sysco Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for learning and gaining knowledge of controls and electric systems, including AC and DC low voltage. Your expertise will be utilized to perform small electrical repairs and welding projects as needed, as well as maintain power material handling equipment (MHE) through preventive maintenance (PM) checks, oil level management, and other essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and gain knowledge of controls and electric systems, including AC and DC low voltage
  • Perform small electrical repairs and welding projects as needed
  • Conduct battery charger repairs, battery changes for MHE, and repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers
  • Perform and maintain power material handling equipment (MHE) through preventive maintenance (PM) checks, oil level management, and other essential tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical systems and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
