Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer at The Fountain Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, specifying and acquiring equipment, and working to identify and resolve manufacturing failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Specify and acquire equipment to support manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing failures using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Validate protocols and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and process controls to optimize equipment performance.
  • Design and execute experiments to improve manufacturing processes and quality.
  • Present data and results to equipment teams and stakeholders.
  • Suggest and implement new methods and materials to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Analyze equipment suitability for process improvement and develop detailed plans for implementation.
  • Participate in teams to ensure continual improvement, safety, and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with material testing and measuring methods.
  • Knowledge of database, CAD, development, internet, inventory, manufacturing, project management, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices.
