American Girl NYC Asset Protection Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Associate to join our team at the American Girl New York City retail store. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for our customers and employees, as well as safeguarding company assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and correcting safety concerns, controlling customer traffic, and providing excellent customer service.
- Prevent loss of company assets through surveillance, employee package checks, and trash checks, while staying knowledgeable of civil and criminal laws pertaining to retail security.
- Serve as a safety mentor for store employees, leading by example and promoting a culture of safety and security.
- 1-2 years of experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military, or security.
- State-specific license required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce and customer base, including working with children.
- Availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
