American Girl NYC Personal Shopping Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Seasonal Part-Time Personal Shopping Assistant at the American Girl New York City retail store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Assist with the planning and execution of in-store special events and Bistro parties, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
- Support Personal Shoppers with administrative tasks, including preparing for appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Utilize Microsoft applications to complete administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and communicating with clients.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and services, providing expert advice to customers.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive experience for clients and their families.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of retail sales and service experience, with a focus on customer service and sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
