Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and colleagues to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Design and produce graphic designs for print and digital materials, including flyers, posters, booklets, forms, brochures, logos, web banners, and other publications.
  • Apply graphic design skills and knowledge of various concepts, including layout, graphic fundamentals, typography, copyright laws, and branding.
  • Proofread and edit design publications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Upload and save artwork files for departmental access.
  • Assist in production areas, including copier, bindery, padding, and front office duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in the printing industry required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This is a normal office setting. The Graphic Design Specialist must adhere to safety guidelines of the Print Shop at all times.
