Job Title: General Manager

ARTECHOUSE is seeking an experienced sales and operations professional to drive its location as General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall business strategy of all revenue streams, ensuring gross and net revenue targets are met across various business lines, including ticket sales, group sales, food and beverage, retail, event rentals, and event programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish business strategy for the location, including ticket sales strategy, event rental revenue, retail proforma, and work with the Sales and Marketing team on execution to meet goals.
  • Manage location expenditure budgets effectively to maximize profitability in line with budgeted targets.
  • Seek out and maximize revenue opportunities through new business development and existing confident pricing of products and services.
  • Maintain a clean record of all building operation expenses and contractor payments, and ensure that bills are processed and paid timely.
  • Perform other job functions as necessary to ensure continued smooth operation of the location.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior operational management position or similar role, in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience managing, aligning, and developing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, and an ability to create, execute, and assess opportunities as a consequence.
