About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Training Specialist to join our team at Panasonic Energy of North America (PENA). As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS training programs to support our battery production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver EHS training programs to production staff, including instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
  • Evaluate training needs and requirements, and create project management processes to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with process and policy changes that impact PENA employees and customers, and implement learning programs to address these changes.
  • Collaborate with production managers, supervisors, and safety champions to design and implement training programs.
  • Review and audit training content, and oversee re-training and re-certification processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional business partners, including Recruiting, Talent Development, and Productions.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for EHS management, and complete administrative duties to track learner enrollments, attendance, and course completion.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in EHS and/or training field.
  • Experience with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, and EPA.
  • Skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, including production staff, management, and external partners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to give formal presentations and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
