The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic, skilled, and cost-effective approach to managing a team dedicated to high performance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians focused on manufacturing equipment within the Battery Module sector.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, including maintaining up-to-date safety training, documenting incidents, and proactively addressing workplace hazards.
  • Uphold strict adherence to equipment operation safety, emphasizing performance and availability.
  • Enhance technician performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), technician utilization, and effective execution of offline projects.
  • Guide technicians in identifying and communicating equipment servicing requirements to bolster reliability.
  • Assist technicians in managing unplanned downtime events and ensure effective recovery strategies are in place.
  • Make informed daily resource allocation decisions to balance the demands of maintenance, engineering, and production.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge, including a proficient understanding of general processes, automation, and controls, with specific experience in Fanuc robotics and PLC programming.
  • Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and a proactive learning mindset, with adaptability to various work schedules and environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Commitment to safety protocols, with the ability to meet physical demands such as prolonged standing, lifting, and repetitive motions in a potentially loud setting.
  • Focus on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) responsibilities, including team safety training and continuous operational improvements.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, including confidentiality, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to respond to audible alarms and visual cues in the work environment.
