Role Overview
As a Lead AI Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the advancements in AI technology and the associated security implications. Your responsibilities will include developing machine learning models and algorithmic strategies to identify and mitigate these security threats. In this senior position, you will cultivate deep expertise in AI and security, guiding our product strategy through research, innovation, and leadership. Collaboration with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and security specialists will be essential as you design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess AI security vulnerabilities, experimenting with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to establish effective defenses.
  • Engage in hands-on development of end-to-end machine learning workflows, including experimentation pipelines and evaluation frameworks, while deploying and refining protective measures.
  • Collaborate with the AI security community to establish standardized taxonomies, datasets, and tools.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and applications in Generative AI, taking a leadership role in identifying security threats, such as the implications of Agentic Applications of Generative AI.
  • Contribute to the body of knowledge through research publications, white papers, and blog posts that showcase innovative applications of AI in security.
  • Participate in red teaming exercises to uncover potential threats, gather contextual insights, and collect data to enhance our products.
  • Contribute to fostering a strong machine learning culture as a senior member of the team.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, with a focus on AI or Security being advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of AI technologies and information security.
  • A solid foundation in AI, machine learning, and deep learning methodologies.
  • Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python or Golang.
  • Experience applying AI technologies within the security domain is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Technologies Utilized:
  • Python, particularly libraries like NumPy and Pandas.
  • Machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAI, XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, and Scikit-learn.
  • GRPC for platform integration.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in Golang.
