Gary Job Corporation serves students ages 16-24 years old, providing education and skills guiding them towards apprenticeship opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a high degree of discipline within the classroom environment, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Instructional Preparation: Adequately prepare for classroom instruction, including lesson planning, curriculum development, and equipment setup.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing student learning opportunities.
  • Material Selection: Identify and select appropriate materials, resources, and technology to support student learning and achievement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Submit Electronic Student Progress (ESPs) as scheduled in a timely fashion, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
  • Instructional Design: Design instruction to meet individual student needs, incorporating diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Project Completion: Ensure the completion of Competency Testing and Skills Training (CTST) projects as scheduled, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A minimum of two years related experience in healthcare education or a related field is required. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret information, as well as define problems, collect data, and establish facts, is essential.

A minimum of an Associate's Degree is required. Professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred.
