Overview

Are you a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills? Our Educational Support Specialist roles provide essential assistance to educators and contribute to the overall learning environment. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing routine tasks under the guidance of a certified educator or instructional team.
  • Relieve educators from administrative duties while engaging in the planning, organization, and assessment of educational activities.
  • Support educators with clerical tasks to enhance classroom efficiency.
  • Facilitate student transitions between various activities, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
  • Oversee student interactions during recreational periods, including playground and lunch supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation and utilization of instructional materials.
  • Duplicate educational resources as required by educators.
  • Conduct classroom administrative tasks under the supervision of a certified educator.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • Possession of a current Educational Aide certificate from the relevant authority.
  • Experience in educational settings or similar environments is preferred.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between various locations as needed.
