POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager of Financial Reporting oversees the financial reporting team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while collaborating with corporate accounting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead financial operations teams, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial analysts, and general liability insurance.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Manage Work-In-Progress reporting.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of revenue and expenses.
  • Monitor and evaluate the cost and profitability status of business units.
  • Review and authorize all financial procedures, implementing improvements to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Examine project accounting practices, including billing, accounts receivable follow-up, lien waivers, purchase order reconciliations, change orders, subcontract management, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Act as the financial liaison between operational teams and corporate accounting.
  • Collaborate with the controller on accounting processes that affect job costing.
  • Facilitate finance operations meetings.
  • Generate monthly management reports.
  • Ensure system accuracy through thorough analysis, internal audits, and effective coordination.
  • Guide project accounting teams to achieve shared objectives, fostering collaboration and the development of consistent practices across all business units.
  • Manage contractor, vendor, and client prequalification and risk assessment.
  • Work closely with Business Unit Directors, the Controller, and Operations to align on common goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications
  • CPA certification is preferred

PAY EQUITY:

Compensation for this position is set at $140,000. Primoris provides a compensation range and a general description of other benefits that it believes it might offer for this role. This range is based on a full-time schedule, and Primoris reserves the right to adjust compensation based on various factors unrelated to an applicant's protected status.
