**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Grants and Contracts Coordinator to join our team at the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of health programs, while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

**About the Role:**
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience in grant management, contract negotiation, and program coordination. As a key member of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Program team, you will work closely with staff, partners, and stakeholders to oversee grants, contracts, and associated deliverables. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in achieving program goals and objectives.

**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and participate in grant meetings, track progress, and ensure timely reporting
- Monitor contract status, timelines, and ending dates, draft new contracts, amendments, and modifications
- Review and process invoices, maintain accurate records, and provide updates to the program director
- Collaborate with the Grants and Contracts team, the DHHS Service Center, and the Division of Contract Management to ensure smooth project execution
- Represent Maine CDC with contracted partners, promote program objectives, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Public/Community Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Three years of professional experience in grant management, contract negotiation, and program coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups, both internally and externally
- State Government procurement and contract management experience, preferably with U.S. CDC grants
