Imaging Scheduling Coordinator

At Piedmont Augusta Hospital, we are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for coordinating all emergent add-on procedures for our imaging departments.
This is a unique opportunity to utilize your administrative and clerical skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will work closely with our scheduling department and referring physician offices to ensure seamless communication and efficient procedure coordination.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also play a vital role in educating patients and staff about our imaging procedures. Your ability to effectively communicate complex information will make a significant impact on our patient experience.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- TWO (2) years of administrative/clerical experience preferred.
- BLS certification and graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program are assets.
We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $52,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience. This position provides a great opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.
