We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Associate to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and ensuring accurate and timely tax preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather necessary information and prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
- Generate business growth by offering additional products and services to clients.
- Provide IRS support and answer client questions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
- Continuously develop and improve tax expertise to stay up-to-date on changing tax laws and regulations.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
