As an Associate General Manager, your role will involve ensuring the effectiveness of our swim lessons by leading and inspiring a successful team, organizing and assessing class schedules, and guaranteeing that our facility is prepared for success at every lesson. You will assist new team members and families during their initial days at Goldfish and provide support as they advance in our program and in life.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality and success of daily operations at Goldfish Swim School, including staffing, pool management, cash handling, customer service, retail and vending operations, private party services, and employee engagement activities.

Your success in this position will be evaluated based on your ability to:

  5. Direct and manage daily operations to ensure the school adheres to Goldfish Swim School's standard operating procedures
  6. Provide sales and marketing training to staff and maintain progress towards quarterly and annual enrollment objectives and any subsequent goals to assess success
  7. Develop and implement corrective action plans when quarterly and annual goals are not met
  8. Achieve high-level proficiency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks, as well as in the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, swim lesson quality standards, and safety protocols
Job Qualifications and Skills:
  • All staff members are required to be lifeguard CPR & AED certified, so you must be able to swim and pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to obtain your certification. All management team members will also be required to obtain their Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
  • You will oversee the execution of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all safety protocols for the facility
  • We require availability for some weekday evenings (until 8:30 PM) and at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shift each week, along with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule each week (e.g., every Monday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
