Your Role
As the primary point of contact at VCA, the customer care specialist establishes the practice's atmosphere, fostering trust and confidence among our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
The customer care specialist is integral to the hospital's operations, responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and directing clients and their pets to examination rooms.
  • Understanding infectious and common zoonotic diseases, including prevention methods and transmission reduction.
  • Identifying and prioritizing routine and emergency cases, alerting staff as necessary.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
  • Presenting and clarifying fees, including processing payments.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Handling all cash and credit card transactions, including deposits and invoicing.

Qualifications

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills

Compensation
