Position Overview

The Automotive Service Consultant collaborates with clients to document vehicle issues and arrange automotive repair services with the service team. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire necessary parts for repairs and input all relevant information into the Fleet database for precise billing.
  • Respond to incoming service inquiries.
  • Organize and manage service appointments.
  • Monitor repair progress and keep clients informed.
  • Perform errands as needed (such as picking up parts, delivering materials, and transporting vehicles).
  • Deliver parts and run errands for technicians as directed.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and technicians.
  • Provide transportation for clients as required.
  • Engage with clients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Support the maintenance of the inventory management system.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Valid and current FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience as an automotive service advisor is highly preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Valid Driver's License.
