Early Intervention Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Early Intervention Program Manager at the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and supervisory support to early intervention service providers and coordinators, ensuring compliance with Ohio Early Intervention rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide overall administration to the Ohio Early Intervention services provided by the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, under the supervision of the Children's Services Director.
- Caseload Management: Assure that caseloads are assigned to each EI staff, and activities of EI staff are monitored to assure compliance with requirements of the EI rules.
- Staff Development: Provide technical assistance to EI staff in coaching, team process, documentation, collaboration with families, and collaboration with other entities.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and participate in activities of EI teams.
- System Administration: Designate at least one and no more than four individuals as Early Track system administrators.
- Reflective Supervision: Provide reflective supervision to EI staff (Service Coordinators, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists).
- Productivity Monitoring: Supervise/monitor productivity/caseloads of all EI staff.
- Complaint Resolution: Work collaboratively with the Director of Children's Services and/or the Catholic Charities Ombudsman to assist with the resolution of family complaints as needed.
- Parent Rights: Ensure parents' rights are being upheld.
- Liaison Role: Act as liaison to Family First Coordinator/FFC Administrative Committee to ensure compliance with their oversight responsibilities.
- Performance Evaluation: Provide ongoing evaluation of EI staff and conduct annual performance reviews. Develop and oversee determination of disciplinary actions as appropriate with additional support from the Director of Children's Services or the Director of Human Resources as needed.
- Professional Development: Develop and coordinate professional development and training for EI staff.
- Professional Growth: Attend professional local, regional, and state meetings as appropriate to the role. Participate in seminars, workshops, professional organizations for professional growth and to gain and maintain needed credentials for the role.
- Reporting: Ensure LEA reports are submitted quarterly.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree strongly preferred.
- Three or more years of related experience is highly desirable.
- Must complete within three months of hire the following DODD required training: Service Coordination, Early Track, Reflective Supervision.
- DODD Early Intervention Supervisor Certification preferred.
- Must meet agency computer competency level requirements.
- Must meet agency driving requirements.
- Must successfully complete a BCII background check.
