Nurse Residency Program

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a New Grad RN. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and developing your clinical skills.
Responsibilities- Participate in a comprehensive residency program, tailored to your individual learning needs, to ensure a smooth transition into your role as a Registered Nurse.
- Provide direct patient care, working closely with a coach to develop your clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Establish and prioritize patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
- Initiate and maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients.
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and take appropriate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Comply with established hospital and departmental personnel policies.
- Use effective communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Document patient information in accordance with established guidelines.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or department.
