Occupational Therapy Support Professional

This Occupational Therapy Assistant position is available at a school in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering occupational therapy services to students with physical, sensory, or developmental challenges.
- Support the implementation of individualized therapy plans developed by the OT.
- Conduct therapy sessions in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the supervising OT.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' functional needs.
- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year.
