Network Infrastructure Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Network Infrastructure Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the physical infrastructure that supports our clients' networks.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, terminate, maintain, and troubleshoot various network cabling infrastructure (copper, fiber, coaxial), including patch panels and cable management systems.
  • Circuit Installation: Conduct physical installation of various circuits.
  • Support Structure Installation: Perform installation of cabling support structures (cable tray, J-Hooks, ladder rack, ladder rack tray, cable horns).
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to clients regarding network infrastructure issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure configurations and changes.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+) certifications are preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the telecommunications or information technology industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of network cabling standards and protocols. Experience with various network testing equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
