Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Refrigeration Sales Specialist to join our team at Gustave A Larson Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue for our Refrigeration products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Support and Sales Force Enablement: Provide comprehensive support to customers and sales force on Refrigeration products, including new product selection and launch support.
  2. Collateral Material Development: Partner with Marketing to develop innovative collateral materials that increase Refrigeration product sales and market share.
  3. Training and Sales Presentation Materials: Assist in the development of training and sales presentation materials for the sales force to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell Refrigeration products.
  4. Proactive Customer Engagement: Conduct proactive calls to customers to mine existing data for untapped opportunities, explore new markets and customers, develop customer relationships, and uncover customer pain points.
  5. Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with Territory Managers, Customer Experience Representative, Proposal Specialists, and Store Managers to educate customers on new marketing incentives, products, and services available through Gustave A Larson Company.
  6. Market Share and Customer Share Analysis: Prepare reports for segment business leaders to determine areas of market share and customer share of wallet opportunities.
  7. Professional Growth and Development: Elevate professional growth and development through continued education in industry programs.
  8. Vendor Training and Representation: Represent Gustave A Larson Company at vendor-sponsored product and technical training classes.
  9. Job Site and Customer Visits: Conduct job site and customer visits, with up to 30% travel anticipated.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree: Possess a Bachelor's degree or Technical degree or Certification.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Refrigeration industry.
  • Knowledge of Refrigeration Systems: Possess knowledge of Refrigeration systems, suppliers, manufacturers, and competitors.
  • Training and Development: Demonstrate the ability to train others in the selling principles of Refrigeration products and solutions.
  • Collateral Material Development: Possess the ability to develop collateral material to support Refrigeration product lines, utilizing former Refrigeration application experience and knowledge.
  • CRM Software Experience: Preferably have experience with CRM software.
  • Excellent Computer Skills: Possess excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, specifically EXCEL.
