Highly Skilled Voice Systems Engineer

The National Solutions Group at Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Voice Systems Engineer to support a client's requirements in a dynamic setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing, refining, and supervising the processes and procedures of Voice System/Hardware Engineering operations in a purpose-built enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide system level engineering support for mission critical IT systems, related telecommunications trunk circuits, voicemail, and telephone instrument units.
• Ensure the availability of mission critical launch communications systems through proactive Tier 2 hardware maintenance.
• Update or create knowledge articles to allow Tier 1 to resolve issues without escalation to Tier 2.
• Perform daily system checks for alerts or degradation of service or system.
Technical Requirements:
• U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience.
• Current DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (typically Security+).
• Experience performing voice systems engineering on mission critical systems.
• Strong understanding of complex, classified, mission specific communications infrastructure and technology that supports US strategic launch capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this position is $67,600 - $122,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
