Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage IT programs and projects to ensure alignment with technical layers.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert during control gate reviews for compliance with the PPM and client Enterprise Architecture.
  • Provide guidance to Applications Engineering teams and program area technical SMEs.
  • Participate in Technical Review Subcommittee (TRS) and Configuration Control Management Board (CCMB) meetings and provide guidance and instruction to Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) Governance Chair and leadership.
  • Provide governance and compliance advice and technical assistance to client Architecture and Technical Standards.
  • Lead Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, incorporating industry leading best practices around Lifecycle Cost Management, Demand Management, Project Selection, and operational sustainment and management after project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • 9+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, and data management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in practicing or facilitating stewardship in data governance and data management technical platforms related to activities around data cataloging, business glossary development, lineage and other relationship properties, stewardship engagement, metadata enrichment.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management concepts.
  • High proficiency in the comprehension and application of industry standard and best practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Technical backend experience working with data quality tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), and Certified Data Analyst Professional (CDAP) Certification(s) is a PLUS.
