Position Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring quality compliance according to established specifications and control procedures. Your role will involve measuring and conducting physical quality assessments against predefined standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products, components, and subassemblies.
  • Assist in executing product inspections following established methods to confirm adherence to customer specifications.
  • Communicate product quality and compliance information to the manufacturing team.
  • Support Quality, Engineering, and Production teams in investigating quality-related process issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain essential quality information systems, including inspection reports, equipment maintenance logs, calibration records, and reports on non-conforming materials.
  • Participate in the completion of GR&R studies, capability assessments, and other inspection documentation, as well as employee evaluations and review processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 2 years of experience in the plastics sector, clean room, or medical device assembly.
  • Familiarity with various assembly inspection techniques and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASQC certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with inspection tools such as CMM, Vision Systems, and standard dimensional inspection hand tools.
  • Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP, and OSHA regulations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, or moving.
  • Occasional repetitive motions and grasping.
  • Occasional climbing to access equipment or storage areas.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. occasionally and over 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Typically requires sitting and using hands for keyboarding or operating a computer.
  • Exposure to standard machine shop hazards, which may necessitate respiratory protection.
