Job Title: Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Higher Collective. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and motivating staff, while ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-tier team support and customer service, with a compliance mindset.
  • Enter patient and order information into the point-of-sale system; process payment; finalize patient orders.
  • Responsible for inventory and cash reconciliation procedures.
  • Perform new patient consultations as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with the Adult Use Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager.
  • Responsible for interfacing with managers in all departments to ensure smooth running of the dispensary.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations, and industry news.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to actively learn about cannabis products available.
  • Prior budtender experience required.
  • Prior team lead experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate point-of-sale systems.
  • Must have flexible and open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have the ability to successfully pass a background check annually.
  • Must have the ability for approval of agent registration card from the DCP.
  • Must be able to move about the dispensary, handle various types of equipment, and computer systems, including a point-of-sale system.

Work Environment:

  • Retail store; front of the house operations.
  • Retail sales; standing up at point of sale, greeting customers, assisting customers.
