We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menu planning and preparation strategies to meet customer demands and maintain profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu items that showcase our brand's unique flavor profile.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure efficient operations and maximum profitability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
