Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the food production team to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assistant sous chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel to ensure efficient food preparation and cooking.
- Develop and implement new menu items and lead the training of food service staff in production, preparation, and garnishing techniques.
- Requisition all food and food-related products and manage the sanitation plan to ensure compliance with HACCP and food codes.
- Collaborate with other departments to initiate partnerships and drive business growth.
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- 3 years of work experience in high-volume food service, with management experience preferred.
- ServSafe or similar program certification required.
- Desired experience working with HACCP principles and managing Classified Civil Service, Union, and Student staffs.
