Paramedic Role at Union Hospital

Union Hospital is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, providing basic and advanced life support, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and comfort, including assessing patients' conditions and providing basic and advanced life support.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, physicians, and other paramedics, to develop and implement a plan of care.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and attitude, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, functioning within legal limitations, and assisting with the education and development of other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed and maintains licensure by the Indiana E.M.S. Commission as a paramedic.
  • BLS level of CPR required.
  • ACLS required.
  • PALS preferred.
