Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Responsibilities- Receive, identify, and prioritize specimens for testing.
- Perform and report laboratory procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and routine instrument maintenance.
- Evaluate patient identification to minimize analytical and post-analytical errors.
- Follow regulatory requirements, maintain safe laboratory practices, and complete assigned goals.
- Associate's Degree in a Medical Laboratory Technician program - CAHEA accredited.
- Preferred: 1 year hospital/clinic experience.
- Must have one of the following certifications: ASCP or NCA, or obtain within 8 months of hire date.
- Basic computer literacy.
