At Acuity International, we're committed to delivering exceptional services that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism. As a Cost Estimator, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this vision by providing accurate and reliable cost estimates for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review cost estimates using industry-leading software such as PACES, MII, and RS Means.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and quality control on cost estimates to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support final deliverables and prepare variance analyses of cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in cost estimating, cost consulting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in commercially available cost estimating software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification in cost estimating or a related field.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is normally performed in a remote environment.
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
