Front Desk Agent Job Description

At Choice Hotels International, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless interactions with our hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and engage guests, taking personal action to accommodate their individual needs
  • Create an energetic and welcoming environment for our guests and team members
  • Review guest reservations and plan accommodations accordingly
  • Process financial transactions and arrange special billing needs when necessary
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel activities, events, and meetings, and communicate effectively with all hotel departments to guarantee a seamless guest experience
  • Manage guest concerns or requests diligently and without hesitation
  • Assist Supervisors, Managers, and Executive Team Members with additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Self-confidence and strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hotel, retail, or customer-focused work experience
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all situations
