Position Summary for Microsoft Office 365 Administrator

Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the Microsoft Office 365 Administrator is responsible for comprehensive administration and upkeep of Microsoft Office 365 applications and services, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. This role also involves addressing online issues, technical challenges, and requests related to Microsoft Office 365 Teams and associated applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional and proactive management for Microsoft 365 Teams and related applications within the Azure platform.
  • Design and implement modifications within the 365 applications.
  • Administer and develop SharePoint Online.
  • Oversee Intune administration.
  • Manage Auto Pilot administration.
  • Promote Microsoft Office 365 Teams-based solutions, embracing new functionalities and enhancing user engagement.
  • Mitigate risks and adhere to processes to ensure reliable and controlled IT service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that application business requirements are met.
  • Work with other teams to develop system integrations and facilitate data migration.
  • Partner with Records Management and other business stakeholders to uphold MS Teams governance, aligning with business needs and implementing necessary system functionalities.
  • Contribute to the formulation of processes and standards for Microsoft 365.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of higher education and relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficient knowledge of the following products:
    • Office 365
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint Online
    • Auto Pilot
    • Intune
    • Entra ID

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the following products is advantageous:

  • OneDrive
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate (Flow)
  • Power BI
  • PowerShell (e.g., Microsoft Teams PowerShell module, SP Online Management Shell, PnP)
  • Microsoft Stream
  • Microsoft Forms
  • Planner
