Belden is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Solution Sales Manager, Data Centers. This role will focus on establishing and maintaining strategic accounts within the data center industry, identifying and developing high-potential targets, and delivering favorable customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute Belden's commercial data center strategy, implementing defined sales processes and delivering outcomes pursuant to the Global Data Center Plan.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and secure on-premise, cloud, and multi-tenant data center business opportunities.
  • Utilize a professional consultative sales approach to conduct needs analysis and evaluate proper resource engagement.
  • Collaborate with Belden solution consultants to develop unique and customizable solutions utilizing Belden's products and services.
  • Engage field sales teams to develop an effective channel strategy incorporating contractors, integrators, consultants, or supply chain partners.
  • Responsible for expanding business within the region and target account, utilizing Belden's smart building and data center cabling and connectivity products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product line management to maximize volume, mix, and margin.
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and other important activities within market responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Data center functions, systems, and architecture experience preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant sales and technical experience in similar or adjacent markets.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in data center power, cooling, compute storage, and network architecture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Belden offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
