- Manage serious incidents, including investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Crisis Management
- Lead the regional response to emergencies or significant operational disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on residents and staff.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Act as the primary contact between the corporate office and the regional communities, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and goals.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., HR, Accounting, Solutions, Marketing, Care and Compliance) to support community operations and initiatives.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement best practices across the region to improve operational efficiency, resident care, and staff satisfaction.
- Promote the adoption of innovative technologies that can enhance operations, care delivery, or resident experiences.
- Ethical Leadership
- Ensure that all operations are conducted with integrity and in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity within communities.
- Education and Experience
- BA/BS in Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a regional director role with a senior housing company who specializes in continuum of care retirement communities.
- LNHA - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays, as necessary.
- Must be willing to travel and work remotely as needed.
- Proven ability to complete projects accurately and within deadlines is essential.
- Willingness to obtain future industry-required certifications and designations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain current automobile insurance.
- Strong budgetary and fiscal management skills are required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, given the need for direct interaction with multiple departments both within and outside the company.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrates strong initiative, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on commitments.
- Comprehensive understanding of state regulations governing assisted living.
- Capable of mentoring, coaching, training, setting goals, and holding teams accountable for their performance.
