Executive Director, Business Development

LabConnect is seeking an experienced Executive Director, Business Development to lead our commercial growth strategy and team within their region. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to accelerate the development of new medicines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Lead a small regional business development team and be responsible for a region of the territory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and partners.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipeline metrics to meet or exceed company goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.
- 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, and leadership roles within the central laboratory space or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze complex data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 50% or more as needed.
