Job Summary

The Office Lead for the Department of Public Administration and Policy in the School of Public and International Affairs serves as the primary point of contact for the department. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the department, including managing office operations, coordinating events, and serving as a liaison between the department and other university units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage office operations, including supervising staff, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and conferences, including arranging catering, audiovisual equipment, and other logistical details.
  • Serve as a liaison between the department and other university units, including the School of Public and International Affairs, the University of Georgia, and other external organizations.
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of office operations and administrative procedures, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.
