Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team and ensure seamless operations during their shift. The ideal candidate will have previous management or leadership experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate and coach their team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the restaurant with a culture of food safety, exceeding company standards in food quality, food safety practices, and cleanliness.
  • Recognize team members for a job well-done each shift and delegate responsibilities to ensure they exceed guest expectations.
  • Own open, mid, or close routines for their shift and set the next shift up for success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and team engagement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, labor scheduling, and cash handling procedures.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and address any issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance and effective implementation.
Requirements
  • Previous management or leadership experience in the food service industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 55 pounds.
  • Night, weekend, and holiday availability is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
