Job Summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient units.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Conduct health screenings and provide patient education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
  • Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
