Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Patient Care Assistant (PCA) Trainee Program. As a PCA Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a nursing support role and develop the skills necessary to succeed in a nursing career pathway.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with vital signs, personal hygiene, and transportation of patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient rooms
- Collaborate with the RN to observe patient progress and report any concerns
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BCLS certification obtained within one week of hire
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives
- Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Michigan
