Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with maintaining good hygiene and activities of daily living
- Support quality of patient care in a collaborative environment
- Respond to patient call lights and provide assistance as needed
- Obtain vital signs from patients and transport them as required
- Maintain a clean and uncluttered environment in patient rooms
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One of the following: Nurses Aide Certificate (CNA), RN student currently enrolled and has completed two full clinical rotations and/or six months experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Technician in an acute care setting
- BCLS certification
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives
