Your Responsibilities as a Branch Operations Team Leader:


Collaborating with Branch Operations management, the Branch Operations Team Leader will oversee all facets of daily branch activities, including leadership of the Branch Associate and Teller positions, all focused on meeting branch objectives.


Uphold the Credit Union's mission, vision, and core values by acting as a cultural ambassador, inspiring team members to reach higher standards, and fostering a commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.


  • Execute all supervisory duties, including scheduling, managing time-off requests, performance coaching, and daily operations.
  • Branch Operations Leadership:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in all areas of Branch Operations, particularly in fraud prevention and loss mitigation.
  • Conduct regular audits of safety deposit boxes and spot checks of team member transactions.
  • Suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
  • Organize volunteer initiatives to broaden the Credit Union's outreach.
  • Step in as Branch Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Adhere to the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti-Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures. BSA training must be completed within the first 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.


  • Complete compliance and professional development training as required.
  • Lead and assign special projects as necessary.
  • Essential Qualifications for a Branch Operations Team Leader:

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a credit union or banking branch operations role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales experience, ideally within banking or credit unions.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
