Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. As a key member of our patient registration department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment, collecting patient information and registering patients for medical procedures
- Interact with patients, clinicians, and other staff members to ensure accurate and efficient registration processes
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, active listening, and empathy when interacting with patients and their families
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with care
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards while adapting to changing circumstances and priorities
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or patient registration preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and procedures an asset
